Sick Mom + sick kids= not fun!

Well we just got over the kids having a cold, and now we all came down with a nasty one! We all need to get better for MYF with the youth group, black friday(of course) and our long awaited trip to California!! We are so excited for the next couple weeks! My friend Beth is coming to visit so I can join Andy at MYF with our crazy youth group! Also Beth and I are going to do some black friday shopping! Yeah 10pm till 8am! Woohooo! We might need 3 polar pops to get through the night! Then we are off to see our families. I haven't seen my brother and best friend in over a year!  My parents and Aunt Sandy came out this summer so that helped with the home sickness!  I know it will be especially special for Andy to see his family.  He struggles with missing them so much!  Anyways keep all of in your prayers these next couple weeks!

God is good!!

Well today has been a great day so far.... went to Tesson Heights(retirement community) for bible study with a friend. I enjoyed that, but it is bitter sweet. I feel so blessed but miss both my grandmas (that have gone to heaven)so much!!
Beth and I after we had lunch at Imo's Pizza! We were in downtown St. Louis for the Joyce Meyer conference

Then I sold a dress on craigslist to a grandma who bought it for her grand-daughter. She bought it so her grand-daughter would have a dress to where to her homecoming dance Saturday!! So awesome!
Some friends we made: Sally (west virginia), Liana(chicago), me , Beth and Sally(west virginia) at the Joyce Meyer conference.

Now I am trying to clean up my house, but I  always feel like it is a never ending battle. I clean up one thing and then the kids get into something else. I guess I am just going to have to get used to it. I am on a quest to find something to do other than wipe noses and butts.  God has a purpose for me other than being a stay at home mom
I just have to be dedicated enough to seek him.

We were so honored to have our picture with Nancy Alcorn Founder of Mercy Ministries.
